Where there is white, I like to put colour. Let's not speak about white any more, but about colours which are different shades of pale or about colored grey.Ideally, painted decor should not look like decoration but should transform an interior architecture through light, matter and color. It is the conditions or contingencies of the real context which will influence the project. The idea must be shaped by the site .

The materials I use - powdered pigments, bases and binders - are chosen and fabricated according to the matters I want to produce with them, characterized by their tactile and visual properties, as well as their degree of mechanical resistance. In the 19th century colors and synthetic products emerged which were more stable in relation to damage from air and light. Using these materials allows me to produce unlimited combinations which must, however, give but one result: the coherence of the whole where the idea disappears, to be replaced by sensation. The pigmentary composition is determined by the singularity of the site an dits occupants.
